Styles: Classical, jazz, contemporary, increasing
ranges, solid technique and proper care for longlasting
results.
Areas
of Vocal Training Expertise Include: Classical,
jazz and contemporary styles, using a variety of musical
repertoire. Developing each student's own musical
style.
Music Teaching & Certification Degree:
B.A. Music Education, music education, voice and violin
emphasis, including other student tutoring, at Linfield
College, McMinnville, OR
Graduate
studies, University of Iowa, Iowa City, Iowa, voice
emphasis and music education.
Teaching philosophy: I believe each
person has their own unique style waiting to be discovered!
To be able to help them visualize what it is, how
to find, explore, and develop their own skills is
the challenge I love! I believe in assisting them
through knowing human characteristics, working with
that, and getting them excited about the process.
How Many Singing Students per Week:
15 with a goal of 40. :)
Require curriculum: Not at present.
Each person will have their own curriculum that will
develop with goals as we go.

Other comments: I have always had
the desire to teach, and specifically help those who
are struggling with a variety of vocal issues; trying
to correct wrong habits developed or just to learn
how to develop their growing, changing voice.

my ongoing learning process of staying current with
practices, techniques, musical styles, and genres,
it is exciting to see the success that has presented
itself in my students!
