Jean
Warshaw will teach you to maximize and preserve your
unique sound. Her complete vocal program includes
instruction in breathing, voice placement, vocal stamina,
pitch, ear training, sight singing, understanding
intervals, vocal health, vocal chord construction,
improvisation, mic technique, audition and performance
preparation. Jean has worked with various singing
styles for over 20 years. Students with voice damage
have been referred to Jean to expedite their healing
process. Many years of coaching, directing, teaching
and choral conducting have made Jean an experienced,
professional instructor. You will leave each lesson
with a CD recording to use as a practice tool. Allow
Jean to help you identify your strengths and eliminate
any weakness in your unique sound!

Teaching_philosophy: Each voice is unique. I believe
training the proper muscle groups around the larynx,
understanding voice placement, breathing and knowing
your sound both inside and outside your body (by listening
to recordings) will enhance your unique sound and
preserve vocal health. In addition you will create
a "library of personal voice" from which
to choose as you design each song you sing. I believe
in building the confidence of each student by recognizing
his/her strengths and correcting his/her weaknesses
with positive, productive exersize.
How Many Students Per Week: 20-30
Require curriculum: I create and track an individual
curriculum for each student
1hour lesson = $70.00
1/2 hour lesson = $40.00
Series of 4 (paid in advance at first lesson of series):
4 - 1 hour lessons = $260
