Qualifications: I have a BMus in vocal
performance from the University
of Hawaii at Manoa. I have been teaching private voice
and piano lessons since 1987.
Teaching Philosophy: I believe that (barring any
physical or mental impairment)
most anyone who is willing can
learn to sing with the proper
technique. Although there are
many types of singing (music),
having a solid foundation in
technique can help any singing
style. Proper technique is
important to protect the singer's
vocal health as well as to
produce a beautiful sound.
